FAQs
How do I book an appointment?
The quickest way to book an appointment is online via our booking platform. You are also welcome to contact us on 0499 985 079 or hello@millabrownstudio.com. Please note a non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment, and it won’t be confirmed until the deposit has been paid.
What payment options do you provide?
We accept debit or credit card, cash and Afterpay.
What happens if I need to reschedule my appointment?
We understand that unexpected circumstances can happen. If you need to reschedule, please notify us at least 72-hours prior to your appointment.
What happens if I cancel last minute or do not show up for my appointment?
If you cancel within 72-hours or do not show up to your appointment without notifying us, the original deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required to rebook. A cancellation fee will also apply as per our Terms & Conditions. Repeated no-shows may result in restrictions on future bookings.
Can I book with you if I have a previous lip tattoo?
Not all previous work can be covered, so a consultation is required to assess whether we can achieve your goals. If you have an existing lip tattoo, you must discuss it with us before booking. Arriving without prior approval will result in appointment cancellation and a cancellation fee.
Can I bring another person to my appointment?
To ensure that you receive the best service and our full attention, we kindly ask that you come to your appointment alone, as additional guests are not permitted in the treatment room.
Is the lip blush touch-up included with the initial appointment?
The touch-up session is not included in the initial appointment. The touch-up is a separate appointment recommended 8-12 weeks after your first treatment to make any desired or necessary adjustments.
How soon after my appointment can I wear makeup?
For lip blush, you’ll need to use only the provided aftercare balm for one week to prevent the risk of infection and irritation. You can wear regular face makeup, but be cautious around your lips and only use clean brushes. For brow treatments like waxing and lamination, we recommend keeping the area makeup-free for at least 24 hours.
What happens during the lip blush healing process?
Immediately after your appointment, your lip blush will look bolder and you may have some slight swelling. This is completely normal and only temporary! Over the next few days, the colour will darken and the top layer of pigment will begin flaking off. By the end of the week, your lip blush will soften into a much lighter, natural-looking colour. The colour will continue changing and settle into the final result over the next 8-12 weeks once the lip tissue has fully healed.
